Batch Ice Cream is tucked perfectly between People’s Bank, the sushi spot, and a bunch of other cute shops and the theater — truly the ideal location for a little treat while you’re out and about in South Hadley. Inside, the vibe is super cozy and welcoming. The manager was incredibly sweet, knowledgeable, and genuinely excited to talk about their flavors and homemade treats. You can tell she cares a lot about getting this business going. She recommended the gluten-free brownie (usually I’m skeptical of GF desserts), but it was honestly delicious — soft, rich, and didn’t taste “gluten-free” at all. They have so many unique, homemade flavors and options that it’s hard not to want to try everything. Perfect little stop whether you're heading to the bank, grabbing sushi, or catching something at the theater. Highly recommend swinging by — this place deserves all the love! ”

“ Just went to Batch Ice Cream in South Hadley, Massachusetts and WOW — totally worth the trip (and the sugar rush). Did I get a social media worthy photo of my beautiful, delicious, creamy scoop? “ Excellent ice cream shop with many unique flavors and toppings! Batch ice cream is definitely a step above your typical ice cream shop and the 1-scoop portion was large! We were also pleased with their dairy free raspberry option which tasted exactly like regular ice cream! There are several tables for seating and staff offered samples of any flavor as we were making our selection. Our party was a group of 6 and our favorites were the chocolate chunk and raspberry but even the vanilla was extremely flavorful. The chunks of chocolate in the chocolate chunk were huge! We look forward to returning! ”

“ We got three kiddie sizes, they were a little bigger than a normal kiddie size and fairly priced. It came to just over 11$. The staff was friendly and helpful and let me try a sample before I made my decision. My son wants to add that the lemon sorbet was great and I got the pistachio that was also good! Located right across from the college and there are a bunch of shops to explore too ”

“ I was there yesterday with my son and my hubby while waiting for food next door. My son had a cookie dough scoop and my husband had a ginger scoop. They asked if I wanted something I said no because of my allergies and they accommodated my allergies and made me feel happy that I was able to actually try something in there. The attendant was very friendly she went and switched out the scoopers and reassured me that I was going to be okay I ended up having the salted caramel and this definitely made my weekend. I usually can't eat in places like this. I loved how their ice creams with nuts were in a separate place. I would definitely go there again. Shout out to the attendant last night they were amazing ”
